Cities named after dates

The Cronovies project mainly focuses on streets named after dates. However, in some cases the date appears in the name of an entire town.

In Argentina there are several interesting examples such as:

• Tres de Febrero
• Dieciséis de Julio
• Nueve de Abril
• Villa de Mayo

These names refer to historical events or significant dates.

So far these cases have not been included in the Cronovies project because they are not streets but different territorial entities. Nevertheless, it is an interesting phenomenon that could be considered in a future extension of the project.
