1866. Oaxaca (Mexico). Victory against the French in the Battle of Miahuatlán.
Oaxaca stayed under French domain in year 1864 and this lengthened little more than two years. The general dictator Porfirio Díaz captained the troops that on the day of the commemoration (Oct.,10 1866) defeated the French at the Battle of Miahuatlán.
