1975. Historical demonstration.
On 6 June 1975, about 10 thousand people demonstrated in the streets of Ponta Delgada, in a demonstration that brought together various sectors of society in the defense of the solutions to the problems of agriculture and transport, but always Frente de Libertação dos Açores has claimed to support the cause of independence for the islands.
