1918. Episode of the Battle of Vittorio Veneto
The Battle of Vittorio Veneto was fought between 24 October and 3 November 1918, near Vittorio Veneto, during the Italian Campaign of World War I. On October 31 the Regiment "Cavalleggeri Guide" occupied Sacile facilitating the passage of the fourth division of cavalry to Livenza, the battle was one of the greatest victories of the Italian army during the war that marks the end of the war on the Italian front.Web: Wikipedia
