1910. Almacelles (Catalonia). Opening the channel of Aragon and Catalonia in the Catalan path.

This plaque was not placed in the square when it was made, because it indicated carrer instead plaça. Having regard to the error, it was decided not to put it. In 1985, during the 75th anniversary of the opening, was placed a monolith remembering the date. This place is well known and popular, and given that the monolith remember the fact, it was decided that it was inappropriate to place any other reference.
