1992. La batalla de Kotoracka.

Informació facilitada pel Tourist Info Center de Sarajevo. El carrer coincideix amb un túnel per on els habitants de Sarajevo escapaven del setge de les tropes sèrbies i que mai va ser descobert.
This is the street where the first “Kotoracka battle” took place in Sarajevo 13.06.1992. during the recent war when Sarajevo was under siege. This street / battle is significant because this location “Kotoracko” was under attack from the Serbian enemy forces who were trying to occupy this territory because this location / territory had huge importance because it was the location of the manmade tunnel which was actually the only exit / hope for the civilians of the occupied city under siege. * The Serbian enemy forces never managed to occupy this location and block this tunnel.
